Detective Kevin Bowhay accepting our Chapter’s Law Enforcement Award (4 Dec 2019)

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office Detective Kevin Bowhay (left) accepting our Chapter’s Medal and Certificate from Compartiot Kevin Coyne. The presentation was the first item on the staff meeting agenda, and the room was full. Compatriot Coyne also explained to those present that the Chapter recognizes everyone as a team that helped in the Stavik homicide case, but our Award was for individual recognition as intended. Detective Bowhay clearly deserved our Award as attested to by the nomination letter from Sheriff Bill Elfo, as well as the verbal nomination received from retired prosecutor Dave McEachern (4 December 2019).
