Honoring LT. Anel B. Shay. MIA from WWII (3 February 2022)

Today our color guard was proud to represent the SAR at a funeral and burial for Army Air Forces 1st LT. Anel B. Shay.  He was finally laid to rest near his parents at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Seattle. Lt. Shay was shot down over Romania on August 1, 1943.   His remains were only recently identified as MIA from WWII.
